I was kind of suspicious to stay in a hostel, ok in a room with bathroom, but I was absolutely surprise to found how amazing is this place. It has very strict policy about noise and everything that guests kept. It is super clean and perfect maintained. Location is perfect, in a striking distance of the downtown and less to the bus station. But the greatest advantage Folk hostel has is Faustina. She provided me in advance so much useful information for the place, the tours we can have. She booked two daily tours for us and we were so happy with the tours guides and tours themselves. Thank you so much Faustina for making our stay in El Calafate so memorable!!!

America del Sur Hostel Calafate is located 22 km from the airport and 80 km from the beautiful Perito Moreno Glacier. Free parking is provided on site. I think this was one of the best hostels i have ever stayed at. The staff was super friendly and super helpful. The common area was really cozy. The kitchen was big and very well furnished. The lo cation as well was excellent, close to the center and to the lake but also offering a great view from the garden and the common space.

We visited with my parents who came all the way from Korea and it was an unforgettable experience overall. Would recommend 100%.

We used the pool. Gym was decent. We would have used the sauna as well if we had more time. Staff was very helpful. About 30min walk to the main square. Nice location as you can explore the surroundings in either direction.

Fitted out really well, everything was in great shape. Large and very comfortable bed, secure parking, huge double bath. Only wish we could have stayed longer!
