The owners are charming and go out of their way to assist. We could not dine there because, silly me, I did not read till the end of the confirmation email, which specified that advanced booking was required for the restaurant. And so we missed out on a gourmet dinner. So, future guests, do read the email till the end.

Location was great for heading into Cape Breton Natl Pk the next day.

There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. It was such a pleasure getting to know Elizabeth and Kevin a little bit. The service was impeccable; the room immaculate and comfortable. Really enjoyed breakfast in the lovely dining room. It reminded me a bit of my childhood with the blue plates and other touches of home on the wall and hearth. Thank you.

Facing the seafront, The Zzzz Moose Camping Cabins is a campground providing a 2-star accommodation in Birch Plain. It features a private beach area, garden and parking on-site. Featuring mountain and garden views, this campground also offers free WiFi. Outdoor seating is also available at the campground. I absolutely loved our stay at Ton's place. Our cabin was clean, cozy and warm ( outside temperature was around 8°C), the private bathroom was located few steps away. You can access the beach directly from the property and maybe even spot some seals in the morning. Ton also runs the Dancing Moose Cafe, where you can have a delicious pannenkoek while being entertain by colorful birds and a very bossy squirrel. It's a lovely place and Ton is a friendly and helpful host. If you are on the road around the Cabot Trail make sure to stop by.

This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is soundproof and is set 1.6 km from Ingonish Beach. What a fantastic hideaway. Very comfortable and quiet with great views over Ingonish bay and Keltic Lodge. The Snuggy was very clean and the kitchenette had what we needed for making breakfast, even a 🫖. The Fisherman's Kitchen nearby was a good stop for dinner and they also do breakfast. Only wish we could have stayed longer.
