The location was very central to town. The staff were very helpful and were willing to answer questions. Bonus: A pass to ride the tram for free and enter musuems for half-price. The breakfasts at the hotel were exceptional!

Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. Super attentive stuff; comfortable, elegant, very clean room. Breakfast was super delicious, great variety. Many different pillows and blankets to chose from, depending on your personal preferences.

The breakfast was fabulous and the bed was very comfy. The owners are at another level of taking care for their guests and their place. I felt very welcome with all the small details from power plug adapter to city map with audioguide and small fridge with items at the supermarket price. No doubts would come here again.

I loved staying at Kris‘ loft. The appartment itself has some cool and unique furniture, plenty of space and is very clean. Moreover, it was super easy to get to any central spot in Basel. What really sets this appartement apart from others, however, is Kris‘ amazing hospitality. You can truly feel that he cares about your well-being and satisfaction. I can definetly recommend staying here and will book again.
