Located 500 metres above Lake Lucerne in the canton of Nidwalden close to Lucerne, this 5-star hotel awaits you with a combination of modern comfort and a traditional Swiss ambience. Our rooms are connecting room with super nice lake view. The spa was too good to be true. There are choices of steam room and saunas, indoor and outdoor pool. We like the outdoor pool in particular, because it is clean and with less people. You can swim under water and ask your family member to take video or photos for you through the Bull"s Eye. Also, there is a floating pool in the spa which you should not missed. All in all, we had a great time in the spa.

Amazing location, amazing food, amazing staff, beautiful scenery, beautiful accommodations. Exceeded all of my expectations.

Hotel Nidwaldnerhof direkt am See stojí v městečku Beckenried, přímo na břehu Lucernského jezera. The staff were all extremely welcoming and quite simply, lovely. My daughter of 4, who doesn't speak a word of German, said one of the waitresses/hosts was now her 'best friend,' and she was sad to leave. Really absolute A+ service throughout, always a smile. The breakfast was terrific as well. Delicious cappuccino and a broad selection of everything. Bread, croissants (laugen, even!), yoghurt, pastries and cake. My daughter went to the buffet four times; we've never seen her enjoy breakfast as much as here. Oh, and the fresh orange juice was delicious, too.

Special thanks to Mrs. Conny for her kindness, positive emotions and good sense of humor, Mrs. Gosia and Mrs. Oksana for the delicious breakfasts, dinners and good company.
