Sunny Beach was a good location. From outside the apartments looked like nothing special but when you walk inside you realise how nice it is for budget accommodation. A very big clean space equipped with everything you require. Luckily we stayed here when we encountered 36 hours of torrential rain. Access to Netflix & other movies. Niki was away at the time but his extended family made sure we were okay & we had everything, they even offered to drive us to the market so we didn't get wet. Once the weather cleared there were pushbikes & paddle boards etc to use. Also everything you need was close by. Meeting the family as well as Niki when he returned was really was one of our highlights staying on Aitutaki.

Take a trip on a Sunday morning to one of the local churches to listen to the harmonious Polynesian Choirs, it's incredible. Perfect sea in every possible shade of blue, soft white sand beaches and amongst some of the most amazing dive sites on planet earth. Napoleon Wrasse, Eagle Rays and Hawksbill Turtles, The reef system will stay etched in my mind forever. Perfect for solo travellers wanting to meet like minded people and wishing to get away from the more touristy side of the Pacific, Aitutaki Budget Accommodation is the only place to go! Can't wait to go back!

Katrina the daughter of the owners was absolutely unbelievable. There was a few technical issues when we arrived and she had them all sorted with a personal visit. She even took us to the shop to get some groceries, beautiful beautiful place to stay immaculate grounds out the front. There’s a swimming hole channel that’s just a few hundred metres up the beach overall could not fault. Across the road there is a fantastic little coffee shop for breakfast and they do lovely Asian food for dinner. Had the best sausage roll ever. Not really recommend this location and property.

Sunset Bungalows bevindt zich tegenover het strand in Amuri, op 7 minuten lopen van Aitutaki Beach. Best accommodation for a last-minute booking in Aitutaki – hands down. The bungalow was absolutely immaculate and had everything we needed for an unforgettable stay. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with airport transfers and a beautiful floral necklace, which instantly made it feel special and personal. The view… honestly, to die for. Stepping straight out onto the beach with that lagoon right in front of you was pure magic. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and ending the day with those sunsets was something else. Beachfront, peaceful, and just amazing – I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

TeAraiMoana House - Aitutaki bevindt zich in Amuri in de regio Aitutaki, en heeft een tuin. We had a fabulous stay at TeAraiMoana house! Everything about it is fantastic! It’s extremely unique perched on a hill with a wonderful view of the lagoon and Ootu beach. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom and hairdryer are great, and the kitchen is well stocked. There’s a giant tv with Netflix, and two comfy couches in the living room. The outside deck is also very nice with perfect comfy chairs. The house comes with excellent WiFi which is usually limited in the Cook Islands (as in you need either a Vodafone eSIM or hotspot access). The road up does turn from asphalt to dirt but there’s a lot of dirt roads on Aitutaki. Seta met as at the airport and also helped us get back since we rented a small car and couldn’t fit our luggage in it. Simon is extremely responsive. Don’t hesitate to book TeAraiMoana house it will add to the magic of Aitutaki!
