Nice outside deck, covered parking. Great breakfast and for all an excellent value. We highly recommend! The owner was most gracious as were the staff.

He gives a lot of detailed tips, even with maps routes and is always approachable and ready to help you with anything. He also speaks really good English, which is great if you're not fluent in Spanish. In general, the hostel is very lovingly, tastefully and comfortably furnished - with woven art on the walls and a small reading corner, a few board games, a nice lounge with a cozy fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen. Everything is very clean and is cleaned regularly. There is also a very good laundry service for 10000 CLP. We even stayed a day longer than planned because we loved it so much. :D

Mezi zajímavá místa v okolí patří Pláž Playa Arena Gruesa. - Breakfast is huge and we ate a lot (Bread, ham, fresh cheese, strawberry, cookies, coffee, guacamole). - The bed was super comfortable and clean. - The shower was hot - Great location All in all, really nothing to complain about

The owner had great advice on where to visit, including a great penguin tour that I took on my last day. The room was also good, with a private bath. The common area was spacious too.

The location was amazing. Literally like 1 minute to the coast from the hostel(walking) and only a few blocks from the artisanal market and to the towns’ busy area. The house was decorated beautifully and was very spacious. The host Raúl was very intelligent, well mannered, and informative. Though, I didn’t use it, he offers tours in his Hostel (penguins, the town, etc). Very good communication with him and he recommended us good places to eat and where to visit within Ancud and where to go afterwards. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was perfect. Private parking available upon request. Central AC in the house, so we slept nice and warm.

Cabañas y hostal Aurora nabízí zahradu, terasu a sdílenou kuchyň. Pláž Playa Sabanilla je 1,9 km odtud. Breakfast was prepared always just before we came down . We were always asked what time we wanted to have breakfast. We stayed over Newyear's eve and New years day. And they arranged for a delicious meals to be brought to the lodge for us during a time many restaurants were closed. Parking was in a gated area and very secure. they have cat and dogs that were very friendly, but were kept outside our entire stay. The owners kept in contact with us prior to arriving. I would go back here anytime!

Lovely hostel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I loved the kitchen - big, homey, and filled with everything you need to cook. The staff wonderful - helpful, patient, and kind! The hostel arranged a penguin tour and kayaking tour for me - both a lot of fun. The hostel is located right across the street from Bus Sur Station so if you are planning to travel here by bus from Castro or Puerto Montt, take Bus Sur! It's alos located just a few blocks from the shore and from many restaurants, supermarket, and cafes.

I could talk about how clean the bathroom was, how cosy the beds were and how nice and well equipped the kitchen was. I could tell you how even though we made a late reservation, we were welcomed as if we were expected for a long time. All of that is true, but nothing compared to how AWESOME our host Miguel is. Awesome to talk to, amazing recommendations on restaurants and so much more. We had a huge engine problem on our campervan and Miguel went above and beyond to help us. We are so glad we had the opportunity to meet him and to be proven once again how kind and caring Chilean people are.
