Location is excellent, right in the heart of Liyang cultural area. Room I had was beautiful, roomy and super clean. Bed was soft and comfortable. Balcony was pleasant to sit on and enjoy my tea. Breakfast was delicious and had good options for eastern and western palates.

More than the excellent accommodation, the couple who run the hotel are kind and generous with their time and hospitality. They made us feel like family. We had an enjoyable time chatting over tea. Will definitely stay here when we visit again.

There are plenty of outdoor gear shops, grocery stores, and restaurants all around, so everything you need is just steps away. The rooms were beautiful, stylish, and super clean – everything felt new and well-maintained. Andy was incredibly helpful and responded to all my messages and questions (and I had a lot!). Honestly, it was the best communication I had with any host during my entire long trip. He also helped us arrange a taxi from the train station, which made everything smooth and easy. The location is also perfect for heading to the cable car – it’s just a 5-minute walk to the buses that go there. Overall, this was definitely one of the best places I stayed at, and I highly recommend it!
