Whether it was offering local tips, helping with transportation, or simply checking in to make sure everything was perfect, her dedication shines through in everything she does. The inn itself is beautiful—peaceful, clean, and full of traditional charm, perfectly located near the south gate of Lijiang Old Town. It’s a quiet retreat from the crowds while still being close to everything. The rooms are comfortable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. What truly sets this place apart, however, is Sanqian’s personal touch. Her passion for hospitality transforms a great stay into a memorable one. You can feel how much heart she puts into the inn, and it shows in every corner of the property and every interaction with guests. Just 10min drive from the airport, the hotel arranged a free shuttle bus service both for my arrival and departure (the driver is a gentleman who speaks English, very polite and helped also with my suitcase). Staff at the reception and concierge were professional and helpful. I tried the in-room dining and the food options were good and had an honest price. I just stayed one night because I was taking a connecting flight to the capital.

The manager, Ling Ling, is extremely helpful, friendly and passionate. She went out of her way to help us organize our outings, helped us book train tickets and suggested activities for us. She made our stay extra special. I love it that the hotel is in a historic building and the location is incredible. It is right in the heart of Nanping Pedestrian Street and Flower market. Lots of activities the moment we stepped the hotel. A-star for cleanliness. The staff will brew a nice herbal tea and a bowl of fruits, which is a very nice touch.
