Super friendly and accommodating staff, Clean and spacious rooms, expansive bathroom with hot water and good water pressure, decent breakfast, close to the Santa Marta markets and the centro historico area but also not directly in the busy centre area, small pool and comfortable lounge and hammock areas.

Everything is clean, great atmosphere,amazing food, beautiful decorations, great Staff. Very friendly . The beach is clean and beautiful , great sunsets. It is easy to mingle around without getting lost inside the hotel. I didn’t use the spa which seem amazing but I am definitely coming back and that will be one of the things I won’t miss. 🥰

Masaya Casas Viejas se nachází 30 minut jízdy autem od města Minca v regionu Magdalena 4x4 nebo motocyklem a 12 km od města Santa Marta. Nabízí terasu a výhled do zahrady. Na místě je bar s terasou. The location was amazing, heated pool with perfect view of the sunset. The food was great and the staff were really nice. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The staff is amazing✨🫶.. they are very helpful, explained me very well what i could do to discover places like Tayrona national park and Minca, and are always friendly and warm! Also they have a vegan breakfast option and different vegan lunch/dinner options🙏🏻 The place is located AT a nice beach, and with a taxi you are within 15 minutes in Santa Marta, if you want to discover the city or have dinner there.

Activities for children are organised.... It has everything in one place. The staff is wonderful and very customer oriented. The nights are super fun full with entertainment and the days are full with activities for everyone.

We enjoyed our stay in the eco hotel, the staff, the food, and the views were amazing! I would stay there again despite the fact that walking upstairs to the room can be tiring:)

Hotel El Santuario se nachází v destinaci Minca a poskytuje ubytování s venkovním bazénem, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, zahradou a terasou. Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino je 23 km daleko. El Santuario was the perfect home base for exploring Minca! Nora and José Luis have obviously put a lot of love into their hotel- they were exceptionally kind and provided us with everything we needed during our stay. We split three rooms between 5 friends, which was totally comfortable for us. We started every morning taking in the stunning views while enjoying a delicious home cooked breakfast- the birdwatching is unparalleled to any place I’ve visited before! It’s a quick 10 minute drive to the center of Minca- we had a car, but the hotel will happily arrange a mototaxi for you, which I took advantage of as i chose to stay an extra night after my travel mates departed. We ended our evenings using the ample common areas to sip tequila and reflect on our adventures. The evenings were cool enough that we wouldn’t have used a/c even if it was available. Of course there are some bugs, but what else would you expect staying in a rustic town in the middle of the jungle?? Other reviewers noting this as a con are obviously unused to accommodations that strive to be as ecologically mindful as possible to their natural environments.
