Truly one of the most amazing accommodations we've ever stayed at. A fantastic tropical garden with lakeside view. Perfect and complete hotel with beautiful cabins. Clean, spacious and fully equipped. Fantastic food with very friendly staff. A perfect place to make up stop on your journey.

Posto meraviglioso, ideale per anche se avete dei i bambini, i nostri si sono divertiti a esplorare le aree verdi intorno alla casetta. Essendo in campagna il posto è molto tranquillo e silenzioso. Ottima accoglienza da parte del proprietario che è gentile e disponibile. Se venite in auto, si arriva attraverso una strada sterrata che scende ripida sulla collina e si parcheggia direttamente all'interno della struttura. Ottima anche la colazione.

Nice garden at the entrance. Secure gated parking. Berna is a great host and her English is excellent, which makes it easier for international tourists. Clean room with lots of storage space. The shower and bathroom are modern looking and clean. Guests can cook in the house, although we didn't do it. Brenda prepares a great breakfast for her guests.

Con vista sul giardino, Cabaña Vista Verde mette a disposizione un alloggio con balcone e macchina da caffè, a circa 22 km da Ujarras Ruins. The place was much bigger than we'd expected, honestly a great value for the price. Shower water was heated, place was well equipped, even had a washing machine, just without a dryer unfortunately.

A 32 km da Ujarras Ruins, Cabañas el Bosque mette a disposizione oltre agli alloggi anche un ristorante, una piscina all'aperto, un giardino e un bar. Very nice experience. The cabins were not difficult to find and remote enough to have privacy and some quiet. There were towels, indoor bathroom/shower, coffee facilities, and basic cooking supplies in the room which was nice. They even had a microwave and fridge. I was given the choice between a volcano or town view, and I chose the volcano. They had a small parking lot and good breakfast at whatever time you ask for - traditional Costa Rican breakfast. You can pay by card at the property. There were a few short 1km trails, a pool, and a playground available, which would be nice when it's warmer. The host was friendly and each cabin had WiFi, although some of it was a little unstable. I still had 4G data connection, which made it a very nice stay! About 40 min drive to Turrialba. I spoke Spanish with the host - unsure of her English ability.

Bella Vista Ranch Ecolodge is located in Turrialba and has a garden, terrace and shared lounge. Featuring a tour desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Everything was perfect. The place, the people, the food, the location, the animals. Best sleep we had with my partner in Costa Rica. The owners are such great people, helpful, very very friendly, the food for dinner was amazing. The place and the view are breathtaking! Thank you again for everything, we'll come back for sure 🙏

Reventazon River Mountain Ranch si trova a Turrialba, nella regione Cartago, a 46 km da Ujarras Ruins. Bellissimo lodge in mezzo alla natura, di grande dimensioni e con un bagno e un angolo cottura completamente attrezzati. Gentili e disponibili i gestori, con possibilità di consegna a domicilio di cena tramite ristorante locale. Buonissima colazione, con grande scelta e qualità dei prodotti.

Finca Queveri si trova a Orosí e mette a disposizione la vista sul giardino, un giardino, una sala comune, una terrazza, un ristorante e un bar. We loved our stay. It was only a two night stop over but we would have stayed longer. such a beautiful area, the views are to die for. Watching the birds from the window was magical. The food was delicious and we were made to feel right at home. The most beautifully well cared for horses which we loved riding.

It is not fancy, but the solitude of the town of Orosi makes this a special place away from the traffic and congestion of not far away Cartago and especially, San Jose. There are roads in the region which would allow for driving to much of the Country and eliminating San Jose and its’ traffic entirely; spend a few days and relax at Orosi Lodge and then drive a rent a car for stays in other parts of Costa Rica, especially the Caribbean Coast and the Southern Pacific Coast. Andreas and Connie, the owners of the Lodge, are extremely helpful with recommendations. The rest of the Staff there is very friendly and a great breakfast is available, if you want. In addition, there are many inexpensive restaurants within walking distance. Don’t miss the Spanish Colonial Church in the center of town built in the 1700s.

Located in the heart of the cloud forest, Paraíso Quetzal Lodge is a natural sanctuary protecting 80 hectares of extraordinary biodiversity. The hotel is in a fabulous spot high in the mountain cloud forest near the Quetzales National Park. The views and walks from the hotel are superb. The cabins are simple but perfect for the environment. A log fire in the lodge and heaters in the cabins keep you warm at night. The views, trees, flowers and of course birds keep your hearts warm during the day. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is just the sort of hearty fare you need at this altitude.
