I had an absolutely brilliant vacation in this apartment and on the island of Maio. Originally booked for two nights, I stayed a full week and did not stay any longer because my schedule wouldn't permit it. The apartment itself, while not luxurious, has absolutely everything one needs for a great Beach vacation. It is large, full of light, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with absolutely everything one needs for everyday living. The location cannot be any better, being a 10 minute walk to the nicest wild beach of the island, and 10 minutes in the other direction to the town's center. The large roof allows for unobstructed views of the sea, and I found myself having all my breakfasts and lunches on the roof in front of the ocean. Without any doubt, the highlight of my visit were the hosts, Alessandra and Ilário, who took hospitality to an unprecedented high standard. They are immersed in the local community and go out of their way to introduce their guests to the island and its communities. My visit to the island would have been way less engaging and interesting without their hospitality. Solid 10, and highly recommended.

I loved the house, it was very well decorated and made you feel at home. It was cleaned every day. The best hotel in May. The only negative point that really bothered me was the internet problems.

Situato in posizione fronte spiaggia a Vila do Maio, il Hotel Casa Evora - luxury and beach front offre una terrazza. La struttura vanta un salone in comune e un ristorante. This place was great! Staff was friendly, room was big and clean (was also cleaned every day), the location was perfect, breakfast was good and served on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Would have stayed longer if I could have (unfortunately we were depending on the ferry to Santiago)

Highly recommend

A 900 metri da Praia de Biche Rocha, Vila de Matiz offre alloggi con balcone e WiFi gratuito. Tutti climatizzati, gli alloggi hanno un bagno privato, una TV a schermo piatto, una cucina e una... Good shower, good location, has a washing machine, big kitchen and the owner is very helpful. There was a transfer from and to the boat. And you really can ask anything they will help you out.

A pochi minuti di cammino si arriva ad una delle spiaggie più belle di Maio. L'ottimo supporto di Solange che ci ha supportato nelle nostre richieste. L'unico posto dove ci hanno fatto trovare dell'acqua al nostro arrivo.

The view from the Villa is breathtaking, the location was great! they have an infinity pool in the condominium, which was amazing! The Patio of the Villa is really nice, and the living room comfortable.. plus the host Luis was reachable all the time and helped us out with a lot of things!
