The place is very cosy, comfortable and freshly-renovated, at the very center of Königstein, with a view of the Königstein fortress. I chose it mainly because it was pet-friendly, and we traveled with our cat who turned out to be their first feline guest. The staff was really helpful, and accommodated all our requests, even helped me order a surprise birthday cake for my husband. Thank you to Sylvia for bearing with all my questions and showing incredible hospitality!

Con vista sul giardino, Ferienwohnung zum Sebnitzer Hirsch propone un alloggio con balcone e macchina da caffè, a circa 22 km da Fortezza di Königstein. Excellent apartment, very clean and lots of spaces. The owners have carefully planned and had all the items that a family needs. I didn't meet anyone in person but the check-in and check out was smooth and we had lots of privacy. It was as if we were the only family living there. Parking is good, instructions from the owner are quite clear. My kids and family enjoyed the stay thoroughly. If we are here again we will not look at any other apartment.

Posizionato a Rathen e distante 10 km da Fortezza di Königstein, Hinterland Hostel mette a disposizione un giardino, camere non fumatori, il WiFi gratuito in tutta la struttura e un bar. The hostel was spotless clean! I stayed at the 10 bed dorm which was on the attic floor. It was very hot outside but there was a stand fan in the room which helped a lot. The bed was soft and comfy with charging points behind the bed. The location is great. It is 15 mins by foot to the station from where there are regular trains to Dresden. Also 15 mins to the ferry which takes you across the river. You get a guest card where the cost of the ferry is included. The shared bathroom was also very clean. Overall an amazing stay!
