The hostel itself was nice, lovely jungle location with great views and close to city. Very good value for price. However, the star of our stay was Fastou the guide who took us for a night, one could only describe as utterly fantastically surreal, in the Amazon. From the moment he arrived he wxplained in full the different tours and although clearly already having a tight schedule adapted a tour to suit our wants perfectly. We asked little questions trusting his 25+ years experienve and boy oh boy we had an unforgettable few days. He shared his knowledge on plant medicine and culture and wildlife and we learnt so much, shared so many laughs, mer some wonderful people and became reinas de La selva. Words can’t describe how great an experience this was and how safe as two females in young 20s felt. As a side note he cooks amazing vegan local food!! Just can’t praise him highly enough

I would like to publicly congratulate the reservation team at termas the Papallacta they went above and beyond to make my parents anniversary special. I can’t thank them enough. The staff at this place is extraordinary, I would highly recommend this site to anyone who would like to have unforgettable memories.

Featuring garden views, Banana Lodge in Puerto Misahuallí features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a private beach area, a shared lounge and a terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Banana lodge was a great choice for our stay in Misahualli. It's adjacent to the Misahualli river (where we got to swim) and just a few minutes walk from the town center. The grounds are clean and well kept and the room was comfortable. There is a communal kitchen for preparing your own food which was very convenient, and taking our meals opposite the river bank was a treat. The hostess was very helpful with planning our activities. Highly recommended.

One week was not enough to enjoy everything.
