Moreover one of the rare hotel we had in Egypt where alcool is available! A piece of heaven perfect to relax and do an excursion at the valley of the whales. The street entrance goes directly in the little village of Tunis with all the pottery shops next door.

At the tail end of a 3 week stay in Egypt we decided last minute to visit Tunis. It was high season there (December) and all of the top-rated hotels were completely booked. We stumbled upon this listing and are so glad we did! Everything was wonderful. The home was quaint and comfortable with excellent views of the lake. It's very well kept, clean, and everything works as it should.The house keeper, Ahmed was very friendly and eager to helpl. Gamal (the owner) was easy to contact and had us setup with last minute excursions. The whole family had a blast. Our short stay in Tunis was so much fun, there's so much to do and see. We plan to be back, and will book Sunhouse again without hesitation. Highly recommended!
