The decor is tasteful, the location is great. The hotel is built on an empty plaza that sits above a parking garage and mall - that in itself is not particularly inspiring. But it is just a few minute walk from Gascona, the main restaurant and sidreria street in Oviedo. The staff were all super friendly and gave us tips for what to do in the area. We took a nice walk up the hills around the town to see some of the pre-Roman churches there, which offered great views of the city as well.

The location was perfect for our visit to Cangas de Onís, it took 5 minutes to get to the centre by car and the apartment was peaceful and relaxing. Just what we were looking for..

The spacious private bathroom features a bidet, a bathtub and free toiletries. The location is pretty much out of the way - and, frankly, the town of Cangas de Narcea is not especially interesting. However, the Parador is lovely - we liked everything about it - it's what you would expect from a Parador. So, if you want to chill out in beautiful surroundings ( the countryside is spectacular) this is the place to visit and stay in.
