Free parking is included for guests. Amazing location in Grasmere. Central to everything in the Lake District. This is our second time staying here and we'll be back again. The breakfast each morning was great. The room was fantastic.

The surrounding National Park offers plenty of scenic routes for walking and cycling, and Ambleside is a 10-minute drive away. Windermere Rail Station is a 5-minute drive from the building. There is free parking and secure bike lock up on site. We liked everything. The location, the staff, the rooms..all was great! Thank you for having us

Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making it easy to visit Ambleside, Brockhole, Wray Castle and Lakeside without a car.
