Emmanouils place was just what we needed! The property is a short drive from the town of Kapsali and Kythira and one of the best beaches we went to on this trip - Chalkos. The property was wonderfully quiet and very spacious. Large room and balcony gave us plenty of room to rest and recharge. The owners are friendly and welcoming.

I loved every moment of my stay at Stella's Houses. The room was spacious, comfortable, immaculate, and well-equipped, with a splendid view of the sea and town below and every morning, the sunrise. The breakfasts were outstanding, featuring all the basics plus yummy treats, including daily French patisserie quality cakes or pies, and some kind of savoury casserole or pita, as well as Stella baked bread and homemade jams and marmelades made with fruit from their garden. The team of Stella, son Stathis and his wife Penelope were unbeatable and spent much of their time doing whatever they could imagine to be helpful and generous to guests and creating an atmosphere of pleasant camaraderie. I miss the place already and very much hope to return soon, much like the enthusiastic repeat guests that I met during my stay. Highly recommended!

Very friendly staff, the room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a beautiful view. The drying rack outside the window was a nice addition. Probably one of the cleanest pools I have seen in a hotel.

The best one I've ever had I'm sure. Kythira is a wonderful island and the location of this hotel was perfect for us. A few tavernas and bars a short walk away. The hotel is so quiet and peaceful. Even a bee flying passed seemed noisy because it was so quiet.

Hence the Christo name. I traveled to this location with my sister to fulfill a 30 year dream to come to Kythera. This hotel was just the best! The sea view, the breakfast with local, fresh ingredients, the hotel condition and the absolutely wonderful staff. They could not have been nicer people and so caring of any need that we had. Telis and Zina were such warm people who really wanted to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. We just loved every minute! Thank you Anesis Hotel!
