It is very difficult to find a luxurious place that is also family-friendly, but this hotel ticks all the boxes.

Situated in Hercegkút, 30 km from Zemplin Castle, Hotel Kőporos Hercegkút features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. This was without a doubt the best accommodation on our road trip trough Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Czech Republic. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The lovely quiet village of Hercegkút is a hidden under the radar gem in the Tokaj wine region, in the East of Hungary. To see and visit the 'Hobbit' style wine cellars there was a unique experience we preferred to the unfortunately now commercialised Valley of the Beautiful Women in Eger, which was like Hercegkút back in the 80s. We especially loved the boutique hotel feel of Hotel Kőporos, its location, the large terraces and phantastic views our rooms had, the aircon, the breakfast, the pool, in short EVERYTHING! It was not the cheapest accommodation of our trip but the price was reasonable for what we got.

The property features inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is 28 km from Zemplin Castle. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Perfect stay, the hospitality of the owners is remarkable. The apartament is huge, it comes with a large, beautiful garden. Rooms, kitchen and bathrooms were incredibly clean, hosts are speaking English fluently and were willing to help you with anything. There are some bigger shops nearby, the apartment is in proximity (walking distance) of picturesque wine cellars. Worth visiting, thank you for having us!

The apartment offers a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Stayed for a few days. The apartment is in an excellent location, literally a shop underneath. It is in the city central, so you have plenty of options to go, get to within a few minutes anywhere you would like to. The apartment is fitted with everything you need. The owner provides you with tea, coffee, etc... The balcony is great with nice sitting. The furniture is new and modern style. They provide you with plenty of channels on the tv compared to an average hotel. The owner is helpful and offered to take us from/to translation to the apartment. Overall, it was a great experience and would recommend it to anyone who visits Sarospatak.

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the guest house's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Exceeded our expectations! Great location, easy to walk to pincers (wine cellars) and restaurants! The hostess greeted us with welcome wine and a lovely tour of the facility. We had the place to ourselves! There is comfortable seating areas both inside and outside and a pincer on the property as well. Free parking within the gate of the property right outside our door. Very pet friendly and no addition fees. Happy to have a/c and a fridge in each room. They also had a larger fridge and ability to cook meals in the common area along with a nice coffee service. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
