The room was amazing, food was very delicious, they prepared for me tempe and tofu everydsy because I am vegetarian. 4 bathrooms -super clean. The staff was amazing especially the manager who had very good english and was communicating with us all the time. The snirkelling trips were the best we had in Raja Ampat!!

Mario, il proprietario, e tutto lo staff ci hanno fatto sentire viziati e coccolati! Mario si occupa di ogni cosa dal trasporto, ai pranzo al sacco, le attività da fare…è il punto di riferimento della struttura. È stata un’esperienza unica: camere basiche ma da belle e con un’accesso al mare invidiabile, bagni in comune ed un lavandino vista oceano pazzesco, ristorante e area comune ben tenuti, sempre con della musica di sottofondo e puliti. Cibo basico ma sempre sufficiente e ben cucinato. Si può avere sempre acqua e ricaricare le proprie borracce, te e caffè. La posizione è ottima sia come barriera della struttura che è davvero spaziale sia come punto per fare gite e uscite con i vari dive center. Siamo stati benissimo, è tutto così autentico e remoto. Atcho was great host for us. He was super helpful, good discussions, came with us snorkling, great resource for the homestay. Food was excellent by the cook, varied from night to night. Bathrooms in bungalow was new and large, open. Good lounges to chill on.

Fellow travelers, this is an absolute bargain, trust me! Pedro is as nice as a host can be, always paying attention to the details so that we had the best experience we could. The accommodation, although not in the centre of Waisai, is not far and the porch has outstanding views of the bay. Moreover, the bed is comfortable and big, the bathroom is well equipped and the AC brings a luxurious touch compared to some of the other guest houses. In terms of the food, they serve both breakfast and dinner included in the price and they're both varied and delicious. If you want to have a beer watching the sunset, you can also buy them directly from Pedro. Finally, he rents motorbikes and happens to know all the necessary people to make the experience of Waisai truly complete. To sum up, this place exceeded our expectations and we feel that it will be much busier once more reviews will pop up, as he only opened it in August 2025.

Siamo stati davvero bene durante il nostro soggiorno al Rosye Homestay. Arlan, il proprietario, ci ha accolti come parte della sua famiglia e ci ha fatti sentire subito a casa. Sua moglie Gracie ci ha preparato ogni giorno dell’ottimo cibo: pesce freschissimo pescato da Arlan e tante altre pietanze deliziose. Il posto è semplicemente magnifico: una baia tranquilla, con un mare meraviglioso e un’atmosfera rilassante. Abbiamo anche fatto diversi tour insieme ad Arlan, e nelle vicinanze organizzano immersioni con un centro diving locale. I prezzi sono super onesti e i luoghi visitati davvero spettacolari. Gli alloggi e i servizi sono molto semplici e spartani, ma proprio questa autenticità rende l’esperienza unica e speciale. Super consigliato! Per quanto riguarda i tour organizzati, come in molte altre homestay, è meglio avere contanti con sé: è molto più comodo. In alternativa si può pagare con bonifico bancario, ma il segnale telefonico prende solo tra le 18:00 e le 06:00, quindi avere un po’ di cash è fortemente consigliato

Raja Ampat Family Guest House si trova a Saonek e offre un giardino e una terrazza. Pedro and his family were very lovely and helpful! The room was comfortable, A/C worked great, no "hot" showers but with the outside temperature the "cold" water was so warm anyway that you don't need "hot" water. We didn't realize when booking that the family not only provides breakfast (which was delicious and filling) but also dinner! They catered for vegetarians and made us a vegetarian dinner which was lovely. The views from the deck outside the room are great, perfect place for an evening beer or a game of cards, or just relaxing and reading a book. They have a little fridge where you can store some drinks or snacks, or you can buy beers from them if you'd prefer! The location is a bit out of the way from the main area of town, but they rent scooters if you want to get around, or it's easy to organize an ojek (moto taxi) to get where ever you need to be. There's also a convenience store a short 10-15 minute walk down the hill.

I found the place to be very clean, tastefully decorated and the food exceptional (best food I had in my three weeks in Indonesia so far: fresh fish caught by our host, Arnes, and grilled to perfection with a multitude of healthy and delicious side dishes cooked up by Lina). A peaceful haven with beautiful views, yet ideally located to reach the nearby dive centers. 100 % would come again if I could. Terima kasih 🥰 + 10 points for the cute puppy

La struttura è molto comoda al porto. La proprietaria è gentilissima e molto disponibile. C’è la possibilità di affittare motorini nella struttura. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite.
