Great place, great vibes, great view (the rooms are surrounded by greenery). The staffs are awesome and gave me some great travel recommendations. Would come back and stay here again.

Tangkoko Sanctuary Villa se nachází v destinaci Bitung a nabízí bar. Tento penzion – hostinec nabízí zahradu a pokoje s klimatizací a s vlastní koupelnou. One of the best experiences of our trip. The staff is really lovely and Sakar is the best guide we could habe wished for going into the jungle with us. The food, the place and the welcoming people made this a really memorable stay.

Renny and her son are super good host & made our stay perfect. Ino ( her son ) is in charge of the jungle tour and has a strong knowledge ( and patience) for all animals & we had the chance to spot Cuscus Bear, Black Macaques, tarantulas, Tarsiers thanks to him. The homestay is super clean with great space & bed. I highly recommend this place that is a gateway at the door of Tangkoko park Thank you for all Renny & Ino 🙌

Three Ken Homestay & Cafe se nachází v destinaci Manado a poskytuje terasu, bar a výhled na moře. K dispozici je vlastní koupelna s kompletním vybavením včetně sprchy a bezplatných toaletních potřeb. Loved it : food is amazing, live music, location but above all the family runming the homestay is wondeful. Highly recommend !

A modern yet traditional and tranquil place to stay while visiting the Lembeh and Bitung area. Pak Alex and his team are ever attentive and helpful. Alex accommodated changed dates and flights etc despite Booking.coms useless customer support. The rooms have recently been refurbished, the hot water hot and everything is spotless. The view over the busy but picturesque Strait is fantastic. Having lived in Indonesia 25 years ago I can honestly say that the food is a good as any home cooked food anywhere with great variation. Sign up for the full catered option. The other house staff are equally helpful and will happily run an errand to pick up supplies as the place is a tad isolated- even they don’t ask or expect don’t forget to tip. While in the area we did some Muck snorkelling with Ibu Feronika from Rumah Selam who operate near bye-it was awesome. Feronika can also help with highland and nature park tours, plus transport to and from Manado. Can highly recommend.

My stay at The Queen's Guest House was pleasant. The accommodation was very comfortable, with great amenities and a great view of nature. Yuli and Mehdi are incredible hosts who make you feel right at home. I had some amazing dives, and the professional instructors made the experience even better. I also enjoyed making friends and having fun conversations with other guests at the bar. To top it off, the food at the restaurant was amazing. Both the local and international options were very delicious. Can't wait to come back!

We had a warm welcome by June, our host. The house is cosy and clean and the family is very friendly. They arrange the guided tours in the park and the food is really good. We had a very pleasant stay, thanks to the nice family.

Sharon made us the local breakfast porridge and it was the most delicious breakfast we have had in our travels in Indonesia. Sharon’s son Wesley, guided us on an extensive day tour of the Tomohon and the wider area and his English is excellent. Our upstairs room had a deck with a peaceful view across green fields. It was a nice to hear the church bell ringing out in the morning. Excellent warangs and restaurants close by.

We had a fantastic stay at Birding Lodge Tangkoko, right on the edge of Tangkoko National Park. The lodge is owned and run by a local family, and they made us feel completely at home. The staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. The Indonesian food was delicious, fresh, and a real highlight after long days out in the forest. The wildlife guides were outstanding. They know the forest inside and out. We did full-day bird tours and were able to see so many of Tangkoko’s incredible endemic birds and mammals. The guides helped us capture great views of hornbills, dwarf kingfishers, tarsiers, bear cuscus and macaques, and many other species. The accommodation was clean, the beds very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was a welcome relief after a hot day of birding and exploring. If your goal is to experience the wildlife of Tangkoko—whether general wildlife tours or full-day birding trips—we highly recommend Birding Lodge Tangkoko and Ardy’s team of guides.
