Hartley House is a beautiful B&B set in a quiet location whilst still being very convenient for the lively town of Carrick-on-Shannon. The house is a real home from home with exceptionally comfortable and luxurious rooms. Kate is a perfect host - warm and friendly, offering refreshments on arrival and providing a fantastic breakfast. We really enjoyed chatting to Kate and sharing many stories. I was genuinely so surprised by Riverside and for all the best reasons! We were greeted with the warmest welcome and given a tour of this truly magnificent property. It oozes character and the owners have very tastefully decorated every inch of this beautiful home. You can tell a lot of time, thought and effort is put into the upkeep. The grounds are stunning and kept so clean - I don't think you could ever get sick of the views. The house itself is absolutely spotless which is testament to the hard work the owners clearly put in. Our room was one of the "older" rooms which we loved as it was like stepping back in time yet we had all the amenities needed - a lovely warm shower, huge comfortable bed (an extra bed in the room too!), a kettle and tea/coffee, a hairdryer and a TV. You have access to a shared fridge and there are irons and ironing boards on hand if needed. The room was immaculately clean and the perfect place to relax and get a fantastic night's sleep. Breakfast was genuinely the best I have ever had in any hotel/b&b - the homemade bread is divine! The most special part of Riverdale however, is Patricia. She is warm, welcoming and just an all round lovely person. We thoroughly enjoyed her company and she went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful weekend, so much so we booked to return before we left. I genuinely cannot recommend this place any higher. If you want to completely relax and unwind in the most amazing surroundings only a very short walk/drive to a beautiful village, you won't get better than Riverside Farm B&B. Don't think, just book.

Aisleigh Guest House se nachází v malebném městečku Carrick-on-Shannon. Řeka Shannon je jen 10 minut chůze a ložnice mají vlastní koupelnu se sprchou a TV. Comfortable clean rooms, great breakfast in the morning. Great location, very nice dining room with real china not paper or plastic plates. Fresh fruit every morning along with a very well prepare full Irish breakfast or other selections. The hosts were gracious and welcoming as always, and why I will keep returning.

Private and comfortable - we had the house to ourselves when we went and Sandra was lovely and accommodating! Helped provide any missing amenities. We were very in and out with our stay but thought the bed was the most comfortable of all of our trip!

A fire was lit when we arrived to warm our accommodation, and we were very kindly given lifts to local places.
