From the moment we arrived they made us feel so welcome - serving us the most delicious lunch in their home - we were blown away 🤩. We enjoyed several home cooked meals (breakfast and lunch) prepared by Mehak during our stay and it was by far the best food we ate during our visit to Pondicherry. They were so helpful - giving us plenty of tips and recommendations, all of which were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciated all the little unexpected extra touches and kindness they extended to us. We are travelling around South India and have no doubt that our stay at Mel Ville will be one of the key highlights - a very special memory. Thank you so much ❤️🙏🙏

The building is beautiful, and our room was wonderful, large, very comfortable, with black-out curtains, and facing into a quiet courtyard filled with plants. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and helped us to organise activities and trips. We participated in a cooking demonstration which was fantastic - and breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were delicious. Thank you!

Don’t expect more than that. Simple Room and comfortable stay, location was centre and easily accessible to all tourist location and host. Ambrose was very friendly and guided us to visit all tourist places. The morning, breakfast is limited and enough for one person .
