Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. Beautiful hotel that feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, with lovely rooms and a cosy restaurant area. The hot tubs overlooking the lake are great. The food was very good both at dinner and breakfast (we loved the happy marriage cake - the best we had in Iceland - and the homemade blueberry jam!)

This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. Comfortable bed, good shower and nice views. Breakfast was nice as well for 2.200 isk per person. Well equipped shared kitchen.

The accommodation is very comfortable, charming, and its spot on the lake is just amazingly beautiful. The owner was very kind and helpful to let us check in a little earlier. I highly recommend this place.

Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. Amazing remote location, with fjords and sea view. Not sure what other types of rooms are there, but ocean view is really worth it, it is breathtaking. Amazing modern, clean room, everything super comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best and most varied throughout our ring road trip. Really nice staff.

Boasting a bar, Hótel Gerpir is situated in Neskaupstaður. There is a restaurant serving Pizza cuisine, and free private parking is available. At the hotel, rooms have a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV.... Stylish lobby. Big room with all facilities. Good breakfast. Nice location

Aiaga hotell Fjalladýrð asub Modrudaluris. Kohapeal on terrass, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Kõikides tubades on kirjutuslaud. The entire hotel was amazing. The rooms were really nice and clean. There was a common area with a kitchenette and some sofas where we ended up spending our evening. There is also a restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast. The food was great. Overall, it was an amazing stay with great views.

Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses asub Egilsstadiris ning pakub ainult täiskasvanutele mõeldud majutust koos privaatse ranna ja aiaga. Just an absolute 10/10 accomidation. Cozy little cabin in the woods about 20-30 minutes outside Egilsstaðir. The have everything you could possible need for a wonderful stay. We had dimm and rainy weather so we lit up the fireplace for a warm and cozy evening. Falling to sleep in the upper room with rain falling on the roof was delightful. If you are having second thoughts about booking this accomidation - go for it! You will not regret it.
