Inaugurato nel giugno 2018, l'Hotel 1001 Nott offre sistemazioni moderne a 5 km da Egilsstadir. L'hotel dispone di vasche idromassaggio all'aperto con vista sul Lago Lagarfljót. Absolutely amazing. The accommodation is beautiful, set next to the lake and mountains. Perfect views and magical sunset/sunrise. The dinner was one of the best I have ever had. Breakfast was also delicious. Truly a wonderful property and would highly highly recommend.

One of our absolute favorite and most memorable places during our Iceland trip. The accommodation was so homey and well designed and spacious. Perfect for our family and baby. The restaurant was delicious and adorable as well as the breakfast. The owners were kind and thoughtful and we learned so much about the history of the lodge. The surrounding area was stunning and I would recommend everyone to stay here during their stay along the ring road!!

Dotato di un ristorante e di una caffetteria in loco, il Blabjorg Resort si trova nel villaggio di pescatori di Borgarfjordur Eystri, a 71 km da Egilsstadir. I reserved gesthouse rooms with shared bathroom (because no other room left) and I had my doubts. But the reality exceeded my expectations. Small but cozy room, comfortable bad, linens, towels like in 5* hotel, bath rooms are like 5*hotel too. In addition, you have a shared kitchen. Instead, we tryed the hotel restaurant and enjoyed it very much. The spa is superb!!! Don't miss it! We had a discount for spa about 17%. Sea view was wonderful, like TV with wild sea life podcast just outside your windows. Lots of seabirds! Puffings lookout just 5 min drive away.

Situato a Modrudalur, Fjalladýrð Hotel prevede un giardino. È presente una terrazza, il WiFi gratuito e un parcheggio privato gratuito a disposizione degli ospiti. Not too far off the N1 but felt like you were were in the wilderness. Stunning views and so quiet. Room lovely and clean although warm as a hot day in Iceland. Food great and service excellent. Well recommend to people.

Ubicato a Skjöldólfsstaðir, Jökla Guesthouse offre un giardino, una sala comune, una terrazza e il WiFi gratuito in tutta la struttura. Gli ospiti possono godersi la vista sulla montagna dalla camera.... Struttura STUPENDA! Sembra davvero uscita dalle copertine di design come scrivono alcune recensioni. Penso la struttura più bella in cui sia mai stata, avrei voluto fosse casa mia! Cucina stupenda e super accessoriata, potrete farvi un’ottima cena in un ambiente super chic! Ottima anche la posizione molto vicina al canyon. Proprietario molto gentile.

Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses si trova a Egilsstadir, a 5,8 km da Cascata Hengifoss e 45 km da Kirkjufoss. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay in the Hengifoss lodge. It's a dream to stay here. Once entered you're greeted by the warm smell of ember caused by the wood that was used to make this house. The colours and the layout of the room is incredibly cosy. The fireplace keeps the house (almost too) warm, and the window + terrace give an exceptional view over the lake and mountains. The hosts are also amazing and gave us the feeling that we're not only welcome, but also that they really understand why we chose to go to Iceland. We asked for help with our fireplace and the host, Isabelle, came to the rescue. She tried to help us to lit a fire but to no avail. We did however have a really good conversation. However when she left, we were content enough. Yet still she knocked on the door and winked us to come over. She told us enthusiastically that the Northern Lights were dancing and fully visible, we had to come outside! The next morning it was kind of raining, a little bit. But the sun was also shining through the clouds. The husband, Steff, called me when I was standing on the terrace. He said: "There is a rainbow there!" and pointed towards slightly behind the house I was standing in front of. I walked to the side and indeed saw a beautiful rainbow. This might not say much to other people wanting to stay there. But to me it feels like these people have such a connection with Iceland, its beauty and understand that we are there for the same connection, they told us to look at beautiful views which Iceland offers, and we were delighted to follow their guidance. Thank you Isabelle and Steff, for the warm welcome. Whenever we're in Iceland and planning to go near Eggs, we will definitely make use of your beautiful little houses.

Hengifosslodge Skáldahús offre la vista sul lago, il WiFi gratuito e un parcheggio privato gratuito a Egilsstadir, a 5,9 km da Cascata Hengifoss. The kitchenette was very well equipped. Felt like we were in a log cabin. Cozy beds, beautiful view, and met by a friendly host.
