Fairfield by Marriott Kumamoto Aso asub Asos, 33 km kaugusel Egao Kenko staadionist Kumamoto. Kohapeal on ühine puhkeruum, tasuta eraparkla ja terrass. The whole room was very clean, well-equipped with amenities and just in general comfortable to stay in. It‘s not traditional japanese in any sense but sometimes a good western room is nice too.

The Location was Excellent . . . By the River . . . So nice and beautiful . . . Staff was very nice . . . Food was good . . .

Located in the heart of the city, Hotel Nikko Kumamoto features accommodations with free wired internet access and views of Kumamoto Castle. Amazing hotel, close to the castle. Staff were absolutely attentive. The room was huge and with castle views. Very convenient if you are taking the coach line to Yufuin or Kurokawa, as the bus station is in front of the hotel.

Ohana asub Minami Asos, 21 km kaugusel Egao Kenko staadionist Kumamoto, 30 km kaugusel Suizenji pargist ja 32 km kaugusel Kumamoto lossist. The property is in a picturesque location, not too far from town and close to a great onsen. The couple who run the property as adorable and so welcoming. The place itself is quiet, clean and spacious! I would highly recommend this to traveler’s into Mt Aso!

Located in Kikuchi and only 18 km from Hirayama Hot Spring, 民泊サライ七城 provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Perfect stay ! The owners were so nice and friendly. The woman speaks good English and they do their best to inform us on the things to do around. The breakfast was just amazing and generous ! Even the house is really cute and comfortable ! You definitely have to come here if you want to visit the area !

43 km from Mount Aso, hostel+cafe たね is a recently renovated property situated in Hōgano and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The location in the country side, the beautiful house, and, mostly, the lovely and warm welcome by our hosts. Try the breakfast - it was delicious.

Momiji hostel asub Minami Asos, 32 km kaugusel Egao Kenko staadionist Kumamoto. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla ja ühine puhkeruum. Our stay at Momiji was great! The old Japanese house was warm and homey and the hosts were kind and welcoming. Two cats were a bonus. Dinner at the Thai restaurant was exceptional and highly recommended! I would be back anytime and ideally would stay for longer!

Offering a garden and garden view, 藤のヴィラ パイン棟 Self Check-in is located in Aso, 39 km from Suizenji Park and 39 km from Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei. Easy 10 min walk from Uchinomaki station, so accessible also without a car (just watch the train schedule since trains are only once per hour or so). This is just one train stop from Aso station, so provides easy access to Mt. Aso and the surrounding area. The kitchen is fully equipped (cutlery, pans, condiments, etc) and there is a small grocery store nearby to buy ingredients. Rooms are large, and there is a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a japanese - style bathroom. The piano in the living room was a great and unexpected bonus. We were passing through and only stayed one night, but it would have been a great base to explore the Aso area and we would have loved to stay for longer.
