It was a very enjoyable experience. Please do mind that most activity plays at the other part of Matsushima, which is about half an hour walking.

The owner goes out of his way to help you taking hospitality to the next lever, even by Japanese standards. Mino helped us get to the ferry, made sure we had the opportunity to play and feed the hotel cats, upgraded our room. There's no words to thank all the kindness we received.

More importantly, I was very warmly received. I will be returning soon.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. It was absolutely exceptional, from the food, to the staff, to the service and hot springs, everything was simply immaculate. You cannot get any better than this.

A free shuttle is available from JR Matsushima Kaigan Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away. Loved this Ryokan beautiful location overlooking the bay. Several onsen to choose from and excellent Japanese food. The tatami room was beautiful very relaxing stay.
