L'Hotel Kifu Hotel Shiretoko se trouve à 10 minutes en voiture du parc national de Shiretoko, classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. The whole stay was wonderful, everything from the room through the onsen to the meals was perfect. The room was spacious and well equipped, large enough for two futon beds that were arranged while we had dinner, a small table and a counter with bar seats by the window (which had a lovely sea view). As for the food, we had dinner and breakfast which were both fantastic and comprised of several small dishes - cold plates, tempura , fried fish and more. We also used the private onsen and had great time.

Featuring a hot-spring bath, a small shrine in the lobby and a restaurant serving freshly caught seafood, Kitakobushi Shiretoko Hotel & Resort is a 5-minute walk from Oronko Rock. Our comfortable room was great, with a super view of the port, sea, Oronko Rock and Cape Utoro. The hotel is all inclusive and the meals were excellent! Free ice cream at the chocolate shop daily was a nice treat as was the snacks and drinks at the lounge area. The outdoor foot onsen is a great place for a sunset drink.

There are three rooms with a big living room in the first floor. It is an excellent house for family to hang out.

The Okhotsk House is very spacious and beautiful. Well located, in the center of Shari, close to all amenities. The house is very pleasant to live in. The Japanese-style room is particularly comfortable and I enjoyed sleeping there. The bathroom is large and perfect for a relaxing moment. There is also a nice kitchen, although I didn't use it. (There are some very good restaurants in Shari!) The heating reinforced the cozy character of the house, while outside you can watch the snow fall. All this in a magnificent setting, because the Shari-Shiretoko region is truly magnificent to discover... The host, from the real estate agency, is very friendly and responded to all my requests. Thank you for this lovely stay in Shari! I would love to come back soon again.

Dedans c'est très moderne et propre. Les "boxes" sont justes comme il faut et très confortables. Le personnel est sympathique et aidant. J'ai dû aller chez le médecin et ils m'ont aidé à trouver chez lequel je pouvais aller. Le restaurant en bas est juste excellent. Je recommande les yeux fermés !

This feels more like staying at your grandparents home than in a hotel. The host is so nice and I felt she genuinely cared for my well being while I was there. I was doing a lot of hikes around bears and she always made sure that I would be careful and safe. The guesthouse is on three floors and I stayed at the top floor in a spacious room. There is a living room to hang out and its well equipped and the shower room is also nice and the bathroom. Very clean and everything is nice. Its a great location because its only 1 minute walk to the bus station and 1 minute walk to the only 7-11 store. They let me leave my luggage when I came to town so I could start exploring as soon as I arrived in the morning. There are some rules you need to follow in this house and the most important to know is that they lock the doors at 23pm and you can not enter after that time. But its a small town and there is nothing available to be doing outside after 23pm anyways so it was no problem for me.
