Our family had the most delightful stay at Villa Romduol, Kampot. The accommodation is a hidden gem. Our first day was a bit culture shock driving through the small village on rough roads, but it was all part of the adventure and "element of surprise." We rode our scooters daily (even at night and early morning without any problem). Loved it! Villa Romduol is just a short drive to Kampot town. The hotel is tranquil, with a separate open, breezy dining traditional wooden structure. The landscape is colorful tropical plants, it was a great joy to wonder and to just sit in front of the rooms or hang out in the dining area. The restaurant (I call it a restaurant because there's no restaurant nearby), run by the host (Naret and Sarong) was also the best meal experience in Kampot by far :), with a good variety of traditional dishes. We also very much enjoyed our impromptu seafood cooking lesson in the evening. The host family came out and helped us grilled fresh seafood - and hung out with us. The rooms were spacious, very clean and the highlight was the friendly and attentive host who provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Villa Romduol is a small boutique hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Kampot. We enjoyed our lovely peaceful evening playing games. We would highly recommend it. Kampot is een overzichtelijk en gezellig stadje waar veel eetgelegenheden zijn voor elk budget. Coconut bevindt zich iets uit het centrum maar met fiets, brommer of grab ben je zo in het centrum. Wij hebben steeds fietsen kunnen lenen van Eugene.

The food is amazing, the view from the roof-terrace is really nice, Patrick and Tola are lovely and very welcoming hosts and the atmosphere in the guesthose is very friendly, cozy and just nice. We really felt at home and would love to come back.

The room is cleaned daily and to be honest it seems like they changed bed sheet daily too. INCREDIBLE CLEAN - great breakfast : eggs different ways or pancakes - coffee, teas or smoothie all serviced with daily fresh fruits. Once again well presented and clean - great help: assisting with bookings, scooter rental for only $7 a day directly from the Guesthouse. Laundry $1 per kilo, ready on your door the next day - great location: close to the main area but is a quite spot - amazing team looking after, run by a family. Very lovely and helpful Negative: Nothing to do with the Guesthouse itself. The bloody trumpet at 5am from the nearest military base it is incredible annoying. It goes on for 30 min. I feel bad as this can bother many guests and turn them away. But the place it is so lovely and deserves to be booked every day for the amazing effort they put. Thanks for having us 😀

The slightly remote, back-water riverside location might not be for everyone, but was just perfect for me. I loved being able to go out kayaking whenever, or just relax around the facilities surrounded by greenery. The accommodation was spacious, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, in Asia (for my admittedly western tastes where I often find Asian beds are too hard for me). The food at the restaurant was excellent, and staff were very helpful at arranging day trips, and shuttle into town. It’s very easy and cheap to get a tuktuk back from Kampot city centre.

Kampot Sweet Boutique is gelegen in Kampot, op 6,2 km van Kampot Pagoda, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een buitenzwembad en een fitnesscentrum. Een mooi hotel met zwembad en super lief personeel. De kamer was een prima formaat, had een heerlijk bed en de douche was ook top. Alles was keurig schoon. Vervoer naar het centrum wordt geregeld vanuit het hotel. Daardoor maakt het helemaal niet uit dat het wat uit het centrum ligt.

Nary Garden is gelegen in Kampot, op 6,7 km van Kampot Pagoda, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. What a great little spot. Situated right in the emerald cathedral, I really enjoyed my daily trips in the hotel's kayaks. I also spent a lot of time lounging on their hammocks and chairs at the waters edge (I was a bit worried about bugs, but it was essential bug-free). The area is easy to walk around, too. There are lots of fun day trips nearby (rented a scooter from them for one and they arranged a tuk tuk for another)- but we also just enjoyed some down time. The food in their restaurant was tasty. Appreciated the good wifi, cool A/C in our room, at hot shower. And the staff were lovely. Such an amazing value - we'll certainly be back.
