We had a lovely time at Tophouse Inn, we really enjoyed spending time with Helen and Clint! We had the Inn to ourselves with them (do not miss the chance to have a beer in the smallest bar in NZ!) and enjoyed a great dinner cooked by their chef Sebastian. They have done a great job restoring and maintaining this gem in a beautiful location. We would definitely recommend staying here for any travellers passing by the Nelson lakes. Bathrooms and bedrooms were exceptionally clean. They had the fires on to keep the place warm.

The studio was lovely decorated and had stunning views of the mountains and ocean. The bed was the most comfortable one we had ever slept in on a holiday. The size of the studio was great and the shower had good pressure. Communications with the owner was also excellent.

Leigh was a fabulous hostess, making us very welcome and fitting in with all our requests without a hitch. Our Cozy Suite was large and very comfortable as was the bed. The ensuite was fine with a relatively new fit-out. The location of the B & B was perfect for our needs and the home itself was large and comfortable as were the outside decks and facilities. All in all this was the bet B & B we have stayed at and we have stayed at quite a few.

The host, Julie, was wonderful! Friendly, informative and helpful. The upstairs room we had in the B&B was spotless and well equipped. Bed was very good. Bathroom was also super clean and very functional. The location of the home in an upscale suburban neighborhood was terrific! Not right on top of the CBD, but just a 5 minute drive away. Perfect setting and location. Also the self-serve continental breakfast in the room was very nice and even included fresh fruit. Everything that was needed for a quick and tasty in-room breakfast!
