Having visited the Misfah al Abriyyin several times previously, I returned after five years absence. The village has adapted rather well to increasing demand from tourism and retains the unspoilt and genuine feel that has caused me to return time and time again. Roghan Hospitality Inn has spring up since my last visit and I initially chose it for its location. This hotel is the uppermost building in the village, and I would wager and arm and a leg against anyone who does not agree that it presently holds the best location of all the inns in the village. It overlooks both the entire old village and its orchards as well as the surprisingly scenic new village. The hotel is modern and has all the comforts I am looking for in a hotel. Good bed - not too soft and not too hard. A useful desk, sensible placement of power sockets; good WiFi; good A/C; decent water pressure in the shower; simple and problem free check-in. It also has big windows, allowing me to enjoy the view, a couple of deep chairs, and a big TV that I didn't use but that my son undoubtedly would have considered the most important feature of the hotel. Both dinner and breakfast were very good and used local ingredients. Both the hotelier himself and his staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The proprietor was a singularly likable fellow and was interesting to talk to. The big thing in Misfah, though, is not sitting in the hotel but walking around and getting a feel for the oasis life. To this end, the owner gave up his morning to walk around the orchards with me, a most pleasant experience - at least for me :-) I was initially worried that I would have trouble getting there by my ridiculously small car, a two-wheel driven Suzuki Dzire, but it turned out to be no problem at all. The private access road to the hotel was quite convenient as it bypassed the customary parking problems that I have experienced in the past.

Il panorama é molto bello con un bel tramonto e la struttura in una bella posizione all’inizio del percorso di trekking. Lo staff davvero gentilissimo.

La camera era molto bella, spaziosa e curata, perfetta per riposarsi dopo una giornata in giro. La posizione è ideale per visitare il souq, il castello e le stradine storiche della città, tutto raggiungibile a piedi. Anche l’accoglienza è stata ottima: i gestori sono gentili e disponibili, sempre pronti a dare consigli utili e a far sentire gli ospiti come a casa. Un posto accogliente e tranquillo, perfetto per scoprire Nizwa dall’interno. Consigliatissimo.

Boutique hotel that was exactly what we were looking for in Nizwa - just close enough to the Old Quarter (literally a street away) but with some needed solitude and relaxation. The bonus was that the property exceeded our expectation in the quality, size, cleanliness, and fine attention to design and use detail. Beautiful premise, huge rooms, and generous amenities like fruit and water. We also had a chance to chat with the owner who made sure we had everything we needed (there wasn't much he didn't already think of). We passed by some of the other highly rated places in the Old Quarter and did not regret our choice of Etra Inn at all. Would highly recommend to everyone.

بيت أرض الثراء Rich Land House mette a disposizione un alloggio con piscina all’aperto, sala comune e terrazza a Nizwa e dispone di WiFi gratuito e vista sulla piscina. Nizwa's hidden gem! A beautiful hotel, with fantastic aesthetics! I absolutely loved the rooms and decor. It was very spacious and served my family well. We loved the pool to dip in at the end of the day and especially the location as it was right in the heart of Nizwa, so close to the fort and souk. Our host was fantastic, really attentive and was on hand via WhatsApp to answer any questions. I would definitely stay again!

Al khitaym guest house si trova a Sa‘ab Banī Khamīs e mette a disposizione la vista sulla montagna e un barbecue. C’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. The food was super yummy. The two hosts were super kind, proper locals telling a lot of stories. They spoke very well English. The view from the rooms was exceptional, and the terrace has an amazing view down the canyon!

Avere sia cena che colazione incluse e' stato un plus non indifferente. In particolare, le colazioni fatte qui sul terrazzo, varie e buonissime sono state uno dei momenti piu' belli del nostro viaggio in Oman.
