The staff was super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had, spacious and super modern rooms and really lovely shaded roof-top pool. Highly recommend to stay

Fort Guesthouse نُزل القلعة is located in Muscat, 1.2 km from Old Watch Tower, 5.3 km from Muscat Gate Museum, as well as 5.3 km from Central Business District. Very friendly staff. Not on site 24/7 but around each day and also available online. When they are around will give extra amenities (towels, tissues, coffee, tea etc) with a smile if you just ask. So it's the best balance between a hotel and a private rental. Owner and manager both available in case of any problems. Rooms very clean with smart and comfortable feel. Staff keep the rooms and communal areas under 24/7 air con so you immediately start to cool down when coming in from the heat. (They don't go in your room and turn off the a/c like many hotels!) Perfect location in Mutrah.

Everything is taylored around the guest, the hotel is beautiful, the room is big and comfortable. The pool is nice and with a good service. Also the spa and the restaurants are very useful for the guests. The staff is very helpful, they helped me a lot in visiting and enjoying my trip in Oman.

Nestled within the coastline community of Al Mouj and ‘the new heart of Muscat’, the five-star hotel will be an unparalleled luxury destination in Oman’s captivating capital. Super friendly and helpfull staff. Great beach and very nice facilities. Breakfast buffet was superb and the thursday seafood-night was amazing. Room cleaning was great and they even treated us with delicious chokolates every second day. One of the best hotels we have ever visited.

A clifftop resort for guests above 16 years old, with sea and ocean view rooms and suites including breakfast and exclusive benefits for panoramic rooms and suites: mini bar, afternoon tea, cocktail... The STAFF was absolutely wonderful!!! I’d never been to a Shangri-La property before but do travel a lot and have seen many five star hotels so I can definitely say that they were amazing here. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the service level was completely on point as well as the hospitality. I’ve worked with high level hotels for years so I have good reference and would highly recommend this hotel. We were sad to leave and will miss it. I almost didn’t want to post this review to keep it a secret but the staff absolutely deserves 10 STARS 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Set against the Al Hajar mountains overlooking the Sea of Oman, this 5-star luxury resort offers a unique palace experience, showcasing the art of Omani hospitality. Our stay was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for, making it one of the best experiences we've ever had especially with our little baby. The hotel itself is luxurious, and the view of the ocean mountains and palm trees were incredible. The food was outstanding, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. A special thank you to Ali, who went above and beyond during breakfast with his hospitality and generosity. His kindness made our mornings even more special. We can’t wait to return!
