The room was bigger and nicer than it looked in the pictures and super comfortable. It’s located a short walk from the plaza de armas and right on the corner for the buses to Chan Chan ruins and the beach. The owner was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make us comfortable and welcome.

The room was spacious with plenty of clothing storage. Shower had great water pressure The hotel is near a few nice restaurants, but their room service prepared excellent meals, too. Tierra Viva’s breakfast buffets have always been fantastic.

The young ladies Roxanne and Claudia and Raquel were all outstanding in their help. The breakfast was excellent, the bed was lovely and comfortable. Wifi was excellent. Hot water in the shower and the location was an easy and friendly walk to the Plaza des Armes. To cap it all off we were allowed to stay at the hotel until it was right for our late bus out of Trujillo. Nena the dog was a star too! We stayed 4 nights and could have easily stayed longer.
