Fantastic big wooden bungalow right by the river with netting on ceiling and windows, so we were protected from mosquitos. Feeling like sleeping outdoors in the jungle. Comfortable beds, even a hairdryer, which was not provided in many other hotels! Emmanuel and his family are very welcoming. They have a water dispenser for people to use on their terrace. One morning I was thirsty and thought I go quietly to get some water, as not to wake anybody up - only to be greeted by several "hola's" from Antonia. She with all the other animals are a delight to watch. Highly recommend to stay there. We also ate there and the cooking was very good. Emanuel organised a trip for us, we were totally looked after. We were picked up by our bungalow by boat, dropped off again and Emanuel's son awaited us with a torchlight as it was dark.

Enai is located in the forest, on the shore of the Madre de Dios River, 15 minutes from the city of Puerto Maldonado. Enai has a restaurant, outdoor pool, bar and garden. Un'esperienza fantastica! L'hotel è sul fiume e circondato dal verde, c'è molta privacy, la piscina con vista sul fiume è sempre pulita e in ordine. Le camere sono molto belle e tutte hanno le zanzariere e le piastrine anti zanzare. La colazione è super ricca e abbondante, con tante pietanze diverse. Anche a pranzo e a cena si possono scegliere ottimi piatti, tutti molto curati, gustosi e preparati con ingredienti locali. Anche i tour organizzati dalla struttura sono fantastici in modo particolare quello del cacao e quello della riserva di Tambopata.

On the day of arrival in the afternoon they took us on a short tour of surroundings where they showed us local plants and the river. We event got to taste the raw cacao beans. They helped us call and order taxi because we don’t speak Spanish and Uber doesn’t work here. They have a small shop with fruits, bread, sweets and salts. Breakfast was excellent. We got avocado every day. With some rice, eggs or tamales. We also got bread and coffee or tea.

All rooms are equpipped with fan and AC and private bathroom and fridge. Clean place all over. Theres a bar, a beautiful pool and the host is fantastic and very friendly. Even took us out to buy some food anf other stuff. Helped us with everything. This place wilk make you chill out. Its worth it. There is harldy anything bad we can mention.

Elmer and his family were great hosts. The comfortable house is in a lovely garden with free roaming chickens. We enjoyed the pool for cooling off in the midday heat. The balcony was great for bird- and agouti spotting. Elmer organized some very nice tours and generally took care of everything

Quirquincho House Lodge offre la vista sul giardino a Puerto Maldonado e dispone di ristorante, sala comune, snack bar, giardino e terrazza. Nicolas e la sua famiglia sono stati davvero gentili e attenti. Sono arrivata fradicia per via della pioggia e di una caduta nel fiume e mi hanno dato subito dei vestiti asciutti e una cioccolata calda con torta.

The host whom I want to call Mama Rosa was just so nice, kind, and warm-hearted lady. On my arrival, she welcomed me with a warm hug and took a very good care of me. I had her home cooked dinners and breakfast (20 soles each). Her cooking was lovely and filling. I can see why everyone who stayed in this place was so satisfied and happy. I recommend Rosa's House 100% and more.

It is next to the river surrounded by beautiful tall trees. You can easily spot some exotic birds on the porch overseeing the river. At night be ready to be ready to encounter monkeys and sloths hanging around near the property!
