I could just spend hours sitting on the sand, taking in the ocean's beauty and sounds, and the amazing views of the surrouding mountains and coast - not mentioning the exceptionally cleary night skies. The property is made so that you directly live with the ocean, both from the room and the dining/living area, including a cute seashell and flower decoration in the rooms. Very calm except for the waves (lovely lulaby) and the ocean breeze makes it nicely refreshing (compared to elsewhere), and it is easy to be in your own private space outside. The location on the island is nicely clsoe (8 km) to the main town with shops, restaurants, gas stations, banks, harbor, aiport, etc. while still convenient to explore the south side of Huahine. The owner Flora is feisty and incredibly sweet and generous, ans she is a star when it comes to caring for her guests, doing what she can to help and make their stay special. Scooter or car rental across the street. Overall my 5-night stay there were very resourceful and I was pleasantly surprised.

Great location next to a Europcar for scooter or car hire and within walking distance to central Fare that has supermarket and restaurants and a ferry port. Not far from airport (though still a car ride). Place is immaculate and has a washer. Very comfortable space for 2. It can get hot inside house but windows have screens and there's a fan plus bedroom AC that suffices to keep you comfortable with blinds. Excellent value.

We had a great stay with Vaiana and her Family. The room was very clean and also had a private bathroom. The shared kitchen was well equipped and all in all the location was great, close to the harbour and supermarket. Vaiana made us feel right at home, their dog loved to get some cuddles. We would recommend it 100%!

We had a wonderful stay at Montrose Place. The home was absolutely lovely—comfortable, welcoming, and well set up for a relaxing holiday. The food we purchased from them was delicious and a real highlight of our stay. We also really enjoyed the snorkelling at the nearby beach, and there was a whale and its calf that came right in front of the property, which made the location even more special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Huahine!

Maroe Bay Lodge heeft gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en biedt uitzicht op de tuin in Huahine. The location was excellent, beautiful view across the lagoon. Free parking, host extremely friendly and warm, brought us juice on arrival, with croissants and banana bread and passion fruit and papaya during our stay. Linda also offered a menu of food that we could order in advance for dinner and lunches if we wanted. Were given free access to a pair of kayaks to use during our stay. Fantastic place.
