The shower had hot water which is rare in rural areas. The campsite is close to the magnificent Kazinga Channel. One elephant visits regularly they call "John." This is a very organized operation they have here.

The view from the camp over the crater lake is beautiful and not to be missed if you're near QE National Park. The tent is very comfortable and cozy -- and it was incredible to wake up with the lake view. Both the owner and the staff were wonderful, making sure that I felt at home the whole time and helping to organize a boda boda tour for me. The bonfire in the evening was the cherry on top of the cake. I wish I could have stayed longer and hope to come back again soon!

And the visiting elephants were epic! I'll definitely be back ASAP.

This Lodge is great, all stuff members are very friendly, even lovely, polite and very helpful. Breakfast and all the other meals were good and tasty - and always on time ! We stayed there for three nights and every day the beds were made and the garbage was taken out. We did not have that in all the other places. Great job, hopefully this Lodge has a secure future. We would stay there again.
