This is one of my best places to stay in Vietnam, the location is extremely quiet after tiring and noisy days in the cities. From top of the hill you can view the villages, fields and sunset from the hammock on the floor. Also the trekking with Ms Ha was really the perfect highlight, we went through the Hmong villages, saw how they farm on the terraced fields, challenging and interesting, during the trip I was introduced to a lot of local culture, customs and everything was authentic not like a tourist location. Here can completely provide a vegetarian meal for my needs. I fully appreciated and recommend this place to other people.

From the moment we arrived (very late at night, and still were picked up), we were warmly welcomed by the owner - Chua. The homestay is nestled in a breathtaking location with panoramic views of the rice terraces — it's like waking up in a postcard every morning. The highlight of our stay was definitely the motorbike tour organized by Chua. This is an absolute must-do if you're staying here! Chua took us through some of the most stunning and authentic parts of the region — lush rice fields, quiet mountain paths, and hidden viewpoints you’d never find on your own. He went extra mile and even took videos and photos of us and the rice fields with his drone which he then shared the footage with us. If you're looking for a place that offers not just a stay, but a real experience of local life and natural beauty, this is it. We left with full hearts and memories we’ll cherish forever. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. Absolute gem of a find that will absolutely make your travels to Vietnam entirely worth it. I have nothing but great things to say about the property, location, activities, hospitality and food. I’m not even sure where to start… the property is built in Thai style on stilts, and the rooms are comfortable, clean, and clear of bugs or other critters. The property has an incredible garden with views over the rice paddy’s and valley to the southeast of Tram Tau. It’s a place you can totally unwind, let the distant village sounds of chickens, wood chopping, and fires crackling take you back to older and simpler times. It’s also the perfect place for adventurous travelers. There’s two majestic mountains to climb nearby, waterfalls, or simply explore the back roads and stop by the local surrounding villages for an authentic cultural experience. The host, Ðung, his wife, and his son will go truly above and beyond to make sure you have the experience of a life time. They have great recommendations for activities, will assist in arranging bicycles, motorbikes, motoraxi’s, private car transfers, you name it. Then, as if all this wasn’t great enough of an experience as-is, the host’s cooking at night was something we’d look forward to each day. For three dinners we fashioned ourselves in an episode of Anthony Bourdain’s Part Unknown, just without the cameras.. did I also mention there’s also friendly dogs that will protect you on your walks and adventures and take their job as tour guide extremely seriously!! if you’re looking for a place to stay, away from the crowds in Sapa or Ha Giang, save yourself the hassle and don’t look any further than Zoni.
