The owners Silvana and John, as well as the staff always gave five star service. My wife who was not feeling well, was attended to by Silvana and she even had medication‘s flown in for the next day. The property is sensational from the lush landscape to the well appointed cave like rooms were enchanting. I have dove and snorkel in many places around the world. Rock Waters marine preserve right off their property equal. The best I have ever been to consider considering cuisine can be a challenge on Tanna Rock water chefs presented every single meal that was absolutely delicious. I cannot say enough about Rock Water resort. Thank you again Jon and Silvana.

Veronika is an excellent cook. The price for transportation to the volcano is 3000 watts less than in the surrounding resorts. Veronika's husband took us to a local village with a Kava tasting and indigenous dancers. I highly recommend.

Complimentary Airport Transfers. Please advise the Resort of your flight details in advance. I would like to give a completely full 10 points. Marsha is so nice and kind and outstandingly helpful. Without her prompt answer and exact suggestion and detailed information to every question I raised, I wouldn’t have made this volcano tour realized. Thank you Matha, and your team! Let the earthquake go by and everything turn good! The volcano eruption was so magnificent, such an unforgettable experience! Again many thanks!

Simple en suite bungalows close to the airport overseen the ocean. En suite bathrooms with running water and flush toilets - this is not always the case on Tanna! 2 minutes walk to blue hole 2 (fantastic snorkelling!). Good to stay here if on a budget and do the volcano tour from here.

Very basic accomodation but decent. No mosquito nets, so bring your own with you. The family serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with what their land produces, so bring your own groceries if you have specific needs. No restaurants, farmacies or ATMs around. This is a great place if one would like to live along the Tanna village people for a few days. Very friendly family!

The hospitality of Philip, Susan and their sons was absolutely incredible. They were so gracious with their time without being over bearing on your privacy. This is the spot to stay when checking out the volcano side of Tanna. You will have everything you need to see the vanuatu culture from the perfect location. For reasonable rates, the hosts will take care of any other logistic you need. -Set up the 2 hour car ride to and from the airport. -Local recipe dinners by Susan and she’s a great cook. I believe they offered lunch as well but I was going on these great adventures they offer to guide you through: -A local village that will show you dances and rituals of their indigenous culture -A hot spring heated river that flows into the ocean overlooking the volcano -And of course, the hike to the rim of the volcano. I had so much time to chat with the family and they are all so kind. I don’t leave reviews, I was very compelled on this one. Stay in this treehouse. Friendly reminder to grab cash and break it down in Port Vila or at the market in Tanna.
