Julio as really sweet with check in and check out. The views are great and open fire was amazing. + Gas stove for cooking. Beds are also really comfortable. If you are looking for a traditional, rustic Ecuadorian experience then this is for you.

I felt like I was the first guest there after the renovation. Everything was very, very clean. The bed was super comfy! Hot water available 24h. The room was warm. It is important because there was a light snow outside in the morning (yes, snow in Ecuador, consider the altitude). The staff were pleasant. There's a restaurant on the ground floor—it has VERY DELICIOUS FOOD and large portions. I loved the breakfasts; you could almost call them lunches (they're not included in the accommodation price, but for $5-10 you can have an excellent meal!) Perfect location, almost near the entrance gate to the Thermal Spa. Big window for the whole wall. A lovely green mountain view from the room, and a stunning view of the glacier from the restaurant (nice to enjoy with a cup of hot chocolate in your hand).
