The location, the views, and the way everything is built so close to nature were absolutely incredible. But what truly made this place unforgettable were the people. They didn’t feel like staff, they felt like family, welcoming us into their home with genuine warmth. And the food… just amazing. As an Indian, good spices and flavour are non-negotiable, and we got exactly what we were craving. We were also really grateful for their help when our pre-booked driver didn’t show up, the team stepped in, and the photo they provided helped us secure a refund for the cancelled activity. After 13 days of travelling across Egypt, staying here was the perfect way to unwind and say goodbye to this historic and culturally rich country.

Staff was very friendly and profesional in the reception.Loved the location of our room with direct view towards Nile river. The room was in beautiful colors and decorations. We only stayed one night, but if I ever come back I will stay here again. Nubian Village is a lovely little place. Maybe its not for everyone, but we loved it. We loved both the dinner and breakfast at the hotel also with stunning view.The staff in the restaurant was also very friendly and helpful even if the communication in Inglish was not the best

When we arrived, Abu told us to feel like home. And that’s exactly how he and his team made us feel. It is rare to have such a warm and genuine (!!) welcome. He made sure we had the best time. Also, during our stay, me and one of my friends got sick - and Abu took good care of us. Thank you for the amazing time we had at your village! The rooms have everything you need and are very clean - just like the whole house. Having breakfast at the terrace is not only very yummy but has a very nice view too. The area of the Guest House is very safe. The people of the village are all very kind and helpful. We (three girls) had no issues to walk through the village even after dark.

Esra was super nice. Waited for us to arrive at 11pm, gave us a room upgrade and prepared a breakfast box for our Abu Simbel trip. We had a lovely dinner on the rooftop as well. Room was quite big and the location is fantastic, so close to the ferry.

I actually loved everything about our stay. First of all, Kafana is a wonderful host. He and his team really make you feel at home. We were lucky to be one of his first guests in a newly built room upstairs. Also, they offer great traditional food which we enjoyed daily for breakfast and dinner. The place is a little charming haven, away from the busy city on the shores of a Nubian village on Elephantine island, looking at the Nile and the sand dunes. It is the perfect spot to watch the sunset in the evening, watching feluccas and other boats passing by.

The rooms have everything you need and are very clean - just like the whole house. Having breakfast at the terrace is not only very yummy but has a very nice view too. The host Tamer was very attentive & friendly. He arranged our Abu Simbel trip and airport transfer for very competitive prices. The guesthouse has a very cute terrace where you can chill & meet the other guests. Rooms are also good value for price. Note that the guesthouse is located in a village, so in order to get to downtown you need to walk to the ferry station (only 5 min walk), but it only costs 10 egp and takes 5 mins and was one of the most authentic parts of the experience.

Everything, food is superior, in fact people come from all over aswan just to eat at this place and we were actually living there :) The whole island is really nice, veggie gardens around, some happy dogs and very happy cats, staff really helpful and friendly

We really LOVED the location and the people! The hotel is host by amazing people that help you in all the ways possible! The place is really nice, colorful and comfortable. The restaurant has a vast variety of amazing food and is well served, prices are competitive and just. The administration helped us in every way: to arrive to the hotel, to book an amazing tour on the area, even to have a taxi for the airport.

Everything from the location, staff, facilities, room was so lovely and memorable. It's like an oasis in the middle of the desert. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was huge. The garden outside and the dog Bobby added a special charm to the place. The highlight of the breakfast was the fig jam/morabba. Abdou/Abdulla, a delightful young man, took wonderful care of us!

Everything was amazing, I loved the location as it is close to everywhere you can go to the Aswan center by a felucca (it’s faster and accessible all day along) … When you’re in Nuba live like the Nubians 😊 P.S. it was actually pet friendly, our cat enjoyed his time 😻

The manager, Mustafa (and his family), has a great heart and is lovely to share some words with him. Very kind and trustable person, he helped us to arrange Abu Simbel transport and also the cruise between Aswan and Luxor at very competitive prices. Nevertheless, his dedication and respect towards his clients is a highlight. Thank you very much for treating us so well, and we hope your place keeps fully booked :)
