The place is incredible! How is it not booked month in advance? Located near a beautiful lake halfway between Nagoya and Takayama amidst mountains, the cabin is really big an spacious and has tons of facilities. Lovely house in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood surrounded by forest. The host was very receptive and friendly and the house was well equipped, with warm and comfortable beds and a great shower. It was the perfect rural Japanese getaway. Would highly recommend and will come again!

Hirosh was so welcoming when we arrived, and helped us find a great place for dinner. He taught us a little Shamisen and played some songs from Ghibli movies. The room and amenities were comfortable and clean. The location and building were beautiful. I wish I stayed longer.
