The best family and possible to horse trek + The guest house was very clean and the family helped me organise a horse trekking of 3 days which was amazing! It was for the cheapest price in town and a very local experience. All the families/accommodations I met a long the way of the horse trek were hearth warming and Bik Bul my guide was nice and patient with me and thanks for teaching me many Kirgish words! I recommend the three day tour as you do a different route every day.

The entire team at the yurt camp is great. The beds were very comfortable and warm. The meals were scrumptious and adequately portioned. They can also arange horseback tours on the spot. The yurts are located close to the lake and hence Son Kul is easily accesible. unlike a lot of other camps whose yurts were a bit far. The bathrooms were clean and modern as well. At night the temperature outside was cold however the yurt was warm and cozy as they have a heater in each yurt to make it as comfortable as possible.

Amazing guesthouse with superfriendly host. We left our bags here to do a 2day hike without any problem. They make you fresh breakfast in the morning. Best price in Kochkor.

We loved staying here. It is a relatively new build which is very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the town. The owner and her daughter are very helpful. The food is extraordinary, delicious and well presented. The young daughter spoke excellent English. Parking is available on site and it is a cycle friendly accommodation. The resident cat was very friendly too!

The food was good, the shower and toilet worked, eje gave me a new Kyrgyz name which was very cool of her. She really liked us and she was super friendly. If you're looking for an "authentic kyrgyz village experience" or whatever then this is definitely that.
