Nestled amidst the lush greenery, Train View Chalet offers a unique experience of being right next to the railways, allowing you to witness the enchanting sight of trains passing by. The natural setting here is truly a haven of peace and relaxation. It feels like you're living in harmony with nature, making it an ideal spot to unwind and destress. The spacious and comfortable rooms at Train View Chalet are a testament to the thoughtfulness put into every detail. At night, you can fall asleep to the soothing sounds of nature, creating a truly serene atmosphere. What impressed me the most was the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic stay. One of the highlights of our stay was the delectable food prepared by the talented kitchen staff. What sets Train View Chalet apart is that they make each dish fresh to order. The breakfast offered a wide range of choices, and the portions were generous. We had a nice experience in our stay at Two Forty. We received a warm welcome even though we reached the place at 3 am. The room was cozy and clean. The in charge persons were too friendly. They provided a tasty and an authentic Sri Lankan food. The property is located easily accessible with Bandarawela bus station and Railway station. Thank you Mr. Sayuru rathnayake for making our stay comfortable and memorable one.

The location was lovely, across from the waterfall, and close to the start of Ella Rock trail. If you want a little secluded cabin in the wilderness, this is the place. We had incredible breakfast every morning, and they were so helpful and provided transport to town whenever we wanted. The service was outstanding and always with a smile! Highly recommend this place.

All is incredible, the location, the very friendly owner, and the amazing breakfast!!! We only spent one day in Ella but was really a wonderfull experience.Also the place is brand new and very comfortable. Only 5 minutes from the center.

Wow, what a special place! We spent 2 nights here and the family couldn’t do enough for us- so kind and generous. They made us cups of tea and coffee when we arrived and throughout our stay. Stunning location in the jungle away from the centre of Ella, with views across to Little Adam’s Peak. Delicious food- they made us an amazing curry on our 1st night- 7 different kinds with rice! And the breakfast….just delicious. Our room was very clean with a comfortable bed, mosquito net and a balcony overlooking the family farm and onto beautiful views. We used their taxi to get us around and to our next destination. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. 😊

    Hidden Gem in Bandarawela area. More close to Ella , even for dining. They have booked train tickets for us and arranged a Wonderfull day tour to Hortain Plains by train & had a lovely journey with their modified jeep. Place was so eco friendly & nice architectural design. All staff well trained & good with communication. Best food with unique way. Highly recommended even for multiple days.
