Had all the facilities that we wanted. Outside balcony with table and seating with fan. Use of the kitchen. Free laundry. The nice chap that runs the place gave us a lift to the turtle sanctuary in his Tuk Tuk and also helped us get a reasonable price for kayak hire. All in all, a good place to stay.

What a wonderful stay I had at Villa Sandamedura! From start to finish I felt taken care of! The hosts are lovely people, they prepared delicious breakfast every morning, organized a boat trip in Koggala lake for me (which is something I totally recommend doing!), Sam was always ready to answer all my questions, and it felt like a real homestay with the right balance of hospitality and privacy that I needed. The room is big and quiet, the location is very nice - 2 minutes walking to the beach, and a bus stop right outside as well. Would definitely recommend it!

We didn’t want to leave🥲. We had a wonderful time. It’s on the water, great if you are a nature lover. it’s very quiet and relaxing. Food was really good, 15 min to an amazing beach ( very clean and not touristy) The family and staff are absolutely fantastic. I wish them all the best🥰

A really lovely space, only 4 rooms total so it never felt busy. Beautiful garden and pool, with a fantastic upstairs dining/ card playing area. The staff were the most helpful and kind people we have met on our trip, always offering help and recommendations of local activities/ sights- made our stay even more special!

The owners take care to make the guests feel welcome and are very helpful with local advice. The location is fantastic for surfers: two great surf spots are only a 2-minute walk away. The rooms are no-frills but spacious and clean and the garden area is a great spot to hang out. Guests can join the family-style dinners, a perfect option if you would like to meet the other guests.

Absolutely beautiful property surrounded by nature. We loved the experience of being in the treehouse and a sleeping amongst the trees. The family were incredible hosts and so attentive! They looked after us from beginning to end. Such an authentic Sri Lankan experience.
