United KingdomI found Villa del Faro as a treat for the final nights of our stay in Baja and we were not disappointed. We stayed in the Stone Cottage on the beach and absolutely loved it!! Listening to the waves as you go to sleep is wonderful and being able to step straight out onto the beach for sunrise and whale watching was magical.
We also loved the grounds, the swimming pool, the breakfasts, the dinners, the chat with other guests, the hummingbirds, the list goes on. We could have stayed forever!

AustraliaSuch an isolated place with great surf. The design of property really suited the environment. We had the “hobbit hole” at the bottom of the hill. It was really private. The staff were very nice. Food was also really good.

Amazing location tucked away on the south east corner of the Baja Peninsula with remarkable beaches, wild horses, humpback whales - the Baja at its best.
The hotel is a wonderful combination of styles - definitely modern and very cool but fits the environment beautifully.
It is the perfect location for a music festival and this is the theme. If you want quiet, check with management about events planned during your stay. It is the perfect place for a music festival.

location, location, location with great food & amazing staff!! This place is a hidden gem & if you want to get away from everything, relax & enjoy wildlife this is the place. We had the most delicious dinner & Margaritas & watched Whales breaching at Breakfast - JUST WONDERFUL!!!

location, location. Away from the hustle of Cabo this place calms the soul. Each room has what you need. Also the restaurant on site is top rate. And if you see a burro make sure you give him a carrot or apple and wish him safe travels.

Awsome location on the beach, views and spectacular sunset. Staff was very helpful and so encouraging to work with us on our spanish while there. Juan at reception and Aristedes in the restaurant were terrific. Food was very flavorful and clearly the chef cares about quality, taste and presentation. Room was very clean and bed and sheets very comfortable.

The location was incredible, the rooms were clean and well laid out. I know everything is on solar but we were really bummed to not have a fridge/coffee maker in the room. We had read reviews that the restaurant was quite expensive and so we came stocked with breakfast food and drinks for during the day and had no where to cool them down. It was quite a spurge for us to stay here and it would have been great to have a way to make free coffee in the morning/ save a bit on food/drinks.

Beautiful Estate, grand views, excellent meals, peace and quiet !
Loved the remote location, viewing the whales, manta rays and orcas. Enjoyed the horseback riding nearby, the snorkeling with sea lions and even the dirt roads were fun. Coffee with a beautiful sunrise from our front porch overlooking the sea of Cortez was memorable. The pool was refreshing if the surf was rough at the picturesque beach. An awesome get away !
