We have stayed here quite a few times. It is such a relaxing place to stay. The surrounds are tranquil and beautiful. The pool area and sauna and the gym are great facilities also. Beds are so comfortable and I always sleep well here. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Most beautiful getaway from the rush of the city, yet so close to the city centre. Stunning rooms and peaceful atmosphere. Staff are so helpful and friendly and the cuisine was superb. Definately a must visit if you are ever in the area. Could get lost in the cerenity.

The room was really cool! Nice big room with big bed and lovely bathroom with a bath and shower and plenty of room in it. The location is brilliant! It's about 15 minutes walk from the centre but is in its own little area with lots of bars and restaurants and is very close to the canal. I loved walking in and out of the main city as the walk is along a canal in a very pleasant part of the town.

The castle was wonderful, it definitely exceeded our expectations! The area is beautiful, in the middle of nature, with plenty of walking and biking trails nearby (by car). The host was very friendly and helpful, he shared the story of the castle, ideas on what to explore, where to eat. The room we stayed in was very beautiful and comfortable, made us feel like royalty. We also enjoyed a nice evening in the common area, with a fireplace, books and boardgames. In the morning - the breakfast was delicious, with local products - and the breakfast room was just as lovely and atmospheric as the rest of the castle.

Very near the train station and also the city centre, so great location. I arrived late, after midnight, but was greeted by a friendly member of staff. The late check out time of 12pm gave me an opportunity to walk around the city centre before I had to check out.

I was just passing through with my dog for a one-night stay but had enough time to walk around in the pretty city of Amersfoort. Vicinity to the railway station plus a quiet, pet-friendly room were priorities - the room was big, clean, comfy and quiet, amenities were great and the breakfast excellent with vegetarian options. The location near the station and a short walk from main sights was perfect.
