View from the room was amazing….staff all extremely friendly….would definitely recommend this hotel. On arrival was offered an upgrade for a very small charge which we of course accepted. I travel a lot, and this hotel surpassed my expectations by a long shot…. This hotel is a bit off the main route if you are heading N or S, but definitely worth the detour.

Stayed for two days. Spacious clean room with balcony towards the fjord. Wifi working properly, excellent breakfast, amazing housekeeping service. Rooms are pet-friendly. We enjoyed the visit a lot, would recommend!

We stayed in the main part of the hotel, which used to be a shipping office. The room was big with lots of windows and natural light (but just looked over buildings). Furnishings were in an older style, more in keeping with the 'shipping office' feel. There are many maps, photos and models of ships around the hotel.
