Our stay was incredible. We informed Rosan that we would be arriving late due to our cycling trip and were concerned about finding food. She generously offered to either prepare a meal for us or get groceries. What exceptional service! The house itself was stunning—a true Norwegian tree house with all the essentials. It was lovely meeting Rosan in the morning and hearing about her experiences in Norway. She is a fantastic host. Highly recommend this place!

Spotlessly clean, superb location, top class furnishing. I can't recommend this apartment enough. There is a beautiful river flowing next to the building where one can go for a refreshing walk. Highly recommended.

The sofa was very comfortable and the tv was huggggeeee Great restaurant right opposite the building and a lovely lake right behind the house and parking was super easy too

Despite rather mediocre exterior of the building and its direct surroundings, the apartment itself was modern, spacious, and very well-equipped, including a fully-stuffed kitchen. In particular, I appreciate the full size table, which must have been recently added as its lack was criticised in earlier reviews – this indicates a responsive attitude of the owner (see also below). The wifi worked perfectly. The free parking directly by the property was a further bonus.

The apartment was centrally located in Notodden which allowed us to walk to dinner and the grocery store for breakfast items. The water was good and hot and the water pressure was excellent.
