It was a super cute, comfortable, very clean, cozy and actually quite luxurious cabin! We had a lovely one night there. It is very quiet and peaceful. Also, it is super close to main attractions in the redwood national and state park like e.g. fern canyon! The staff is very helpful and friendly! And as I already mentioned it was suuuper clean, I have rarely seen such a clean shower! They also provide a little choice of tea and coffee which is super cute. The only thing not 100% perfect was the WiFi connection if you were in a cabin a bit off the office building. I guess, it is not that bad because you are on holiday and shouldn’t spend much time on your phone/laptop. But still, if you need to do some work (what you shouldn’t do as you are on holiday) or you want to watch a movie then it can be a bit annoying as things take ages to load. But just as I said, you can also enjoy your time just reading or playing board games so it really was not that big of a deal!!

Beautiful property and the room was really cosy. Beds were comfortable and slept incredibly well. Everything was clean, makeup towels were provided, there was a drinking water tap in the kitchenette. It was great. They also provided a sheet with recommended food in the area. Free WiFi.

Lovely place, one of the best rental houses we’ve ever stayed in! Super comfy and beautiful scenery. Kids loved it.

My family stayed at this property to travel Redwood National Park and it was a perfect location. The house is a little outdated but well-maintained, clean and well equipped. Moreover the lagoon/ocean view was fantastic. The house was very comfortable for four of us and two small dogs. Pet-friendly was another merit of this house. We had no major complaints about our stay at Freshwater Lagoon Retreat.
