Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Nukus

I stayed in the yurt, and I loved the experience of camping while still having running water. For the price, this is definitely the best place to stay in Nukus!

the hostel is in walking distance to both museums in Nukus, very good location, and also near the bazaar, which is convenient to find shared taxi to your next spot. The hostel provides water and free tea and coffee 24/7 which is so rare to see ever since I began my trip, I mean, it’s just there, you don’t have to ask or do anything before you get it. reception also can arrange tours to moynak, order taxi to train station or other cities. and they accept payments by credit card(but there will be 1.5% handling charge). bathroom is private for each room which is awesome.

I had such a comfortable stay at NIKA. Staying in a neighbourhood rather than downtown was much more relaxing, plus you can reach the museum through a quick marashtruka very close to the homestay. They even upgraded me to their VIP room free of charge. Definitely stay here!

This place is highly recommended. We spent a night here on our way to Kazakhstan, and had a wonderful time. The family that runs the place is very kind and helpful, and they speak English. The food was very good, and the setting is in a nice quiet neighbourhood with a very nice garden. A true family-run hostel in the best way possible. The rooms and amenities are perfect and very, very clean. The family offered to help us book taxis to go to the city center, and even drive us to the train station. We look forward to coming back.

I spent one night at Karpalakstan Hostel at the beginning of November during my trip to Nukus. A newly opened hostel is well equipped with all the facilities including clean bathrooms and toilets. They also have a kitchen and nice conference/dining room with Television. Admin Alimbek who speaks perfect English, also showed me a small documentary about the Aral sea during my stay. I reached the town a bit late in the evening and they picked me up from central Bazaar for free of cost. And the next morning he arranged a shared taxi from the hostel to Khiva through his local contacts at the best rate of 80000 som, saving me the hassle of going to the taxi station and negotiating. Alimbek also arranged a car from Muynak to Aral sea at the last moment a day before while we were in Muynak at the best rate among everyone in Muynak. And I must say the car was brand new and in excellent condition and the driver, though didn't speak English or Russian knew all the right spots for photography and made sure to stop along the way. You can get in touch with Alimbek for a car from Nukus/Muynak/Khiva to the Aral Sea. They have bigger vans for larger groups too. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Perfect place to stay while we transited through Uzbekistan. Location was great too.

Really helpful staff, even let us arrive early in the morning and stay. Had a great area to store our bikes!
