Amazing homestay. It offers breathtaking views of the mountains, quiet (a little away from the noisy city center of Sa Pa) and affordable. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated. The garden is pleasant especially in early spring. Link and his family are very welcoming, attentive and speak English (which is not always the case in Sa Pa). She organized an excellent trek in the rice fields for my friend and I. I loved this stay!

EVERYTHING!!! Mama Tom Tom doesn't just offer her house and food, she offers a glimpse into the tradition and culture of the villages in the Sapa Valley. Mama Tom Tom is an incredibly kind and hardworking lady who speaks great English!! She took us on a 2-day trek with 1 night stay in her home. The treks had the most beautiful views, to which Tom Tom added her insights and answered all our curious questions! Her home is humble (built by her husband!!!), clean and traditional with all the basics that you require. NOT TO FORGET the most gorgeous view just outside!! She offers breakfast and dinner in the package, and lunch on the treks! I cannot emphasize the value for money enough!! If you are looking to support a local Hmong woman and learn about their culture, look no further!! O' Chau Mama Tom Tom ❤️

A lovely and quiet homestay in Ta Van that truly feels like home. Kim and Nam are both incredibly warm and welcoming—Kim's hospitality makes you feel like part of the family, and Nam is a fantastic cook who treated us to delicious meals every day. Such a peaceful place to relax. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Everything was perfect, family is lovely and available, we shared a lot of moments with them. The place is quiet and peaceful. It was a great and unique experience. The view from the balcony of the room is definitely the highlight of the whole accommodation experience. Staff are so helpful and friendly to offer advice including travel tips and transport for your trip. There is a steep road to go up to the main road from the homestay and the staff is willing to help me with my luggage. Nice communication. The room is lovely and exactly how the pictures show. Clean with nice deco - love it and would definitely recommend!

We arrived early in the morning and everyone was still asleep, but they quickly came and we arranged everything. The whole family running the place is very kind and friendly, the location and the ambient are extremely beautiful. The breakfast is good the coffee is a must try, also the traditional Hmong dinner. We went on the bamboo trek with a local guide who gave us a lot of info regarding their culture, rice fields and production, history, etc. (Be sure to bring quality hiking/trekking shoes, sunscreen and mosquito repellent). Overall it was a very unique and nice experience. Would highly recommend.

The homestay was everything I needed it to be. A great place to relax as well as a base for exploring the area. The hosts were incredibly sweet and helpful, family dinner was delicious and lots of fun, and the guided treks are well worth doing. The local village - Ta Van - has a lot of restaurants/bars/cafes that are worth visiting. But the value is incredible, the food is good and the view is beautiful. Just be aware that this is not luxury in a western sense. The facilities are quite basic but definitely adequate. It's also quite a way out of Sapa so you can't explore the town from there. When you arrive you will need to walk a very steep uphill path to get to the homestay.
